Default No Fly Zone 3 - CenCal airport racing

There were a few forum members that had participated at prior events. Thought it would be a good idea to share the next event. Should be a fun one! Updates will follow as usual.

I'm signed up with my '08 ZO6, affectionately known as The Silver Bullet, or by some as The Factory Freak. I just know the car works, and frequently takes out more powerful cars in the 1/2 mile roll race. These events are great fun and very easy on the car. Try it, you'll like it.

For any coming up the morning of the event... there is a caravan group meeting at a Dennys just @ the I-5 near the I-210 in Sylmar. We may have one of our media sponsors coming up that morning also with the group. So if you are planning on heading to the event around that time... why ride alone?!

Dennys

12861 Encinitas Ave, Sylmar, CA

6AM for breakfast

645 departure time

There is an open conversation on our facebook page, or feel free to email me.

****FRIDAY NIGHT MEET n' GREET****
As is customary for our events, we will be having a pre-event meetup the night before. Any of the participants or spectators in the area this Friday night should come out! There will be a designated parking area for us... just look for the fast cars!

6PM-until whenever!
DoubleTree by Hilton
3100 Camino Del Rio Court
Bakersfield, California 93308
(661) 323-7111

They have kindly offered our group a reserved area of the club-lounge inside. You will see signs posted. They have also arranged for the full menu (appetizers, to sandwiches, to entree dinners) to be offered to us while inside this area, as opposed to needing to order/eat at the restaurant cafe' portion of the hotel. So along with the scheduled DJ, and full bar staff, we will be able to order more than just bar-food while we hang out and talk cars! This gives us a chance to put some faces with the cars, talk about matchups for the next day, or buy that round that you owe that guy...

It will be a fun time, and I'm sure we all appreciate the courtesy of the DoubleTree for helping us with this! Thanks to Debbie and the gang.
