Default Fun roads in Ventura County

I'm in Thousand Oaks looking for a fun road in the hills to do some spirited driving. Any suggestions?

Come out to the monthly Valley GTG for some great spirited driving.

One of our regulars, Scott ("Medrivfast") is also from Thousand Oaks.

That looks like a great loop! Got it saved to my map, think I'll give it a run tomorrow!

I would suggest highway 33.
150 around the lake if there is no traffic isn't bad either.

What a great route! Got a late start this morning so I ended up turning around just before Lockwood, but those roads are amazing!

Glad you enjoyed it. Come to one of our gatherings in the Valley and you will hit many more great roads. See my thread in So. Cal section.

Here are a few pictures from the drive. They're from my phone so they're not too special.

Good, glad you enjoyed it.
Makes Mulholland Hwy seem like over-hyped circus in comparison IMO..

I'm in T.O. also. Nice pics. You should definitely go to the next Valley GTG.

you can always come to Angeles Crest! 2 HWY.

I live there and I go up on early Morning before ppl come up & around evening when not many ppl go up. (all to try to avoid other cars).

If you like sprinted driving and feel of lateral G's, you may want to check it out.

Angeles Crest Got Frest Air and I like the quietness when Im up there.

I would avoid end of the months, since there will be alot of CHPs issuing tickets here. (almost got pulled over by the CHP that was coming down when I was going up with friendstwo days ago, but I managed to pull away :P

It is mostly 4th gear corners, though you can use 3rd. ( I use 4th to keep my oil temp under 250, when I use 3rd alot, temp rises)

Good meditation spot.
