Default WTT C5Z trans (m12) for base C5 trans (mn6)

I'm looking at making a lot more power here real soon and would rather have the base C5 gear ratios so I'm looking for someone that wants to trade out their base C5 (MN6) transmission for my C5Z (M12) transmission. The transmission has 53k miles on it and will be coming out of my 01 Z shortly. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Good idea to switch from the M12 to M6, however, when you say you'll be making "a lot more power", it makes me think you should be considering a built trans instead of a stock unit. Now's the time to do it, since you'll be swapping it out anyway. Good luck, whatever you decide.

Yea I would do a built one but I dont have that budget right now. Plus ill be moving later this year back to my home state of Indiana, and RPM transmission will be much closer so I can do a built trans then.

Default m12 for mn6 swap

Buried in the shop I have a potential swap purchased in 2007 while living in San Diego, which was never installed. It was advertised as T56 2002 Corvette transmission with 30,000 actual miles. If your interested PM with contact info and I will endeavor to uncover transmission, locate ID tag, and be prepared to open up if you so desire. However, I have since moved to LA, and the transmission is in storage in Rancho Dominguez.

So now that the car is done and I've been able to drive it with the stock gearing....I definitely could use the mm6 gearing!! lol. Anyone out there want to trade? This gearing is just a bit too close of ratio for this power.
