It's Been Awhile
Last December I drove my Vette from Florida to San Diego... Went fishing on a ten day trip on the Excel.. Got back from fishing on the 20th. and flew back to Tampa.. I have not had the time to get back to S.D. to pick up the Vette until now..!! And what a trip back to Florida it will be..! Going to caravan with a few of my old..(and I mean old).. MVCC Varmits to the World 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina, May 26th. Looking forward to getting the Vette up and running when I get to San Diego on the 12th.. Hope to see y'all..(southern term I learned here in Fl.).. while I'm there...

RJ...good to hear from you!!! I heard a rumor that someone made a few bucks on your vert while you was away! 
Anyway, hope to see you again at The Block one of these Sundays when you're out this way again.
We'll have the next Block probably on the 26th...I hope. I need more time for my knee to heal after partial knee replacement.
Give the wife and son a hug from the Block!!!

It's REALLY been awhile..

Great to hear from you! Jane and I are still running the back country when we can. She almost pushed me up Palomar weekend before last.
Maybe we'll see you when you are in town. If not have a good time running East with the Varmits.

I'll allow you some professional courtesy, and some artistic license, too; but Ramona is a "census-designated place", last I heard, not quite yet an incorporated "city". Besides, doesn't the Mayor have to actually live in the city, and not in unincorporated Sandy Eggo county?
I'll still vote fer ya Mayor. Still like that polished "air cleaner" on that there C-5. pistols? Hell, dija run Winchester on the 20mm?

Speed limit was raised to 165
Gas Octane is now at 110
and most importantly only left hand turns in the City, all are now progressively banked!!!!!
No vegetables served in the restaurants
Only classic country and classic rock and roll played on the radio station. all ricers parked at the city limits!!!!!
all alleys are 1/4 mile in length with a mandatory run off area!!!

What are 1/4 mile alleys for? I gave that lil Porscha thing behind me a two car head start. I PROMISE never to do that again. (in Ramona)
Maybe you could name that alley behind the car MUSTANG'S alley? (It's the one south of Main, between 8th and 9th.)

Hey Norty, John and Jane... Sure is nidce to hear from y'all.. John, those pics. bring back memories of some of the fun times "cruising" in San Diego...Might have to adjust my schedule for more time there...
