Default May 20th-'Vette Roundup @ The Block of Orange

Hello fellow "BLOCKHEADS!!!"

We'll be meeting this month at around 7 AM or after.

REMEMBER, THIS IS FOR "ALL 'VETTE YEARS!"

Krispy Kreme
330 The City Drive South or City Blvd. East
Orange, CA 92868
O.C. TBG 799-C4

Hope to see you there!

Your Fearless Leader
Sparky

MT. BALDY RUN IS ON!!!

We'll leave KK at around 8:30 AM to arrive in La Verne at 9 AM and to begin the cruise around 9:30 AM. I'll have maps to Mt. Baldy for everyone that wants to go.

1) Left onto the City Drive
2) Right on Chapman, right onto 57 Fwy North
3) 57 Fwy North to 210 Fwy East
4) 210 Fwy East to Foothill Blvd., turn left on Foothill and Dennys is on your immediate right.

The meeting place in La Verne is the Dennys parking lot at the corner of Foothill and Baseline, across the street from the Mobil gas station/car wash.

We'll be eating at the Hat off of Foothill Blvd...because after that mountain driving, we'll all be hungry!!!

DON'T WASH YOUR CAR BEFORE HAND AS IT WILL GET DUSTY!

Stay safe and I know you'll like this one if you haven't been on it.

EDIT: Not sure if a bike race held on the day before will affect our run...stay tuned!

Finally a Corvette meet 1/2mi from my house! Woohoo. See you guys at Dennys!

Just an idea but if we come down azuza canyon after the run, there is a good mexican restaurant right on Azuza Ave call La Tolteca Mexican Food. They have a large parking lot as well and dont mind car clubs and meets showing up.

Thanks for the info. Our route takes us up Azusa Ave., but we come down Mt. Baldy Rd. which turns into N. Mills Ave. and then east on Foothill Blvd.

Ok, so we would coming down by my house. Only thing is the few restaurants dont have very big parking lots around there. Down the street on Foothill you will have a Carrows, Carls Jr and a mexican place called La Paloma. La Paloma has very good food with very generous servings and the parking is better. Thats just passed the corner of Garey and Foothill, less than a mile from Mills. Just giving options, idk how familiar anyone is with the area.

You and Frank will do wonders!!! Hoping to see you "SLOW DRIVING" veterans when we hit the slopes of My Baldy...with "NO POSTED SPEED LIMIT!"

I'll be the one that decides what the speed limit is, because the angels are with me!!!

John, do a rain dance, and maybe they will build One in Scotsdale.
Or Fountain Hills.

EDIT: Not sure if a bicycle race held the day before up to Baldy will affect our run, stay tuned!

If it does, we'll do the 27th.
