Default For sale C5 track day car

2000 FRC runs 1:33s at Willow Springs. Reason for sale is that I want to buy a racecar and don't need a street legal car.

Performance mods:

Pfadt coil overs, poly bushings, and sway bars
Camber plates
LG Gstop front brake kit (Wilwood SL6 caliper with thick pads)
DRM brake ducts blowing directly into rotors
SKF hubs up front with Nordlocks
C5 Z06 rear wheels on all 4 corners with Pirelli slicks
DRM Ron Davis high capacity radiator and engine oil cooler
K&N cold air intake

Safety mods:
Kirkey full containment seat on Hardbar rails
Hardbar harness bar and sub mounts
2 sets Team tech 6 point harness

Reliability mods:
Transmission rebuilt with RPM stage 3 components (only 1 event since)
Torque tube bearings and guibbos replaced
Clutch remote bleeder

Car is still street legal, registered, licensed, and smogged. I have the title in hand. Garaged in San Diego and ready for your next track day. I can deliver to the track and provide you with free instructing.

Priced for quick sale at $15,000

Matt

Good luck with the sale Matt

I have seen the car and it is in great shape. And I can attest to its ability as Matt was always ahead of me

Awesome deal for a sweet car. If you find it hard to sell as is, I would love to be first in line for some of your race parts. GLWS

Good price for those times, I'm sure you didn't even need the coilovers to go that quick around WSIR.

The great thing about the coil overs is that they make adjustments very easy. Shock valving is adjusted just by turning a **** and corner weights / ride height is adjusted with just a shock collar wrench.

If I didn't already have my hands full with cars, I would consider it. That's a great buy!

Thanks Howie.

Howie drives a stock C6Z06 by the way, so that is a good benchmark for the laptimes my C5 can achieve.

Here is a video from Chuckwalla last year. This track has many sweepers and high speed corners which really test the handling ability of a car.

As you can see I'm passing a bunch of people after catching them in the turns, from lighter weight cars like S2000s to a Ferrari and a Viper.

Thanks Frank. I priced this to sell quickly and hopefully I will be back on track with a full race car soon.

Negative.

I had calls from all over, but no locals.

Buyer is flying out end of the month.
