Local Dealer for warranty work In San Diego
Hi all,
Any preference for Bob Stall in La Mesa or Courtesy Chevy in Mission Valley? I had a lousy time at a dealer near me and am looking for a new shop.. Any other Ideas??
Thanks

not familiar with bob stall, but I do know that courtesy does alot of vettes and they have a zr1 trained tech there
I would go to Jimmie Johnson though, i worked with their collision dept for a while and they have TONS of vettes that come in there for service, they usually have 1-2 zr1's in for service as well as about 10 other vettes

Thanks for the reply..
I went to Jimmy Johnsons and was not impressed.. Used to take my Camaro there years ago and they did good work. Took the Vette and it was the worst experience..

Bob Stall destroyed my transmission and then I had to sue them to get it replaced. I would not take my vett to bob Stall for any reason. I did finally get reimbursed thanks to the court system, after several months of fighting.

Typical..
I guess it doesn't matter where I take my vette.. Depends on the alignment of the stars.. whether the tech had a good nights sleep..
Service writer got beat by his better half.. or the dealer had a good month.. I guess I will take it to the nearest and hope for the best..
What a sad state of affairs.
Thanks for all the responses.
Much appreciated.

I've a lot of good luck with Courtesy & not just on the corvette. I had a bad experience with a salesman @ Bob Stall and won't go back there again. A lot of the 65+ crowd that drives vettes seem to like Bob Stall though.

Yes they did. There are a lot of new faces there since my incident. I grew up with the corvette tech there so I trusted him working on my car. He left there on a medical... I've used Jimmy Johnson lately just because they are close to my job.

I go to Bob Stall ask for Robert in service. Takes pretty good care of me. He noticed that the paint on my roof is a little off. Pulled the history and found that another dealer did the recall on it before I owned it. Haven't had a chance to make an appointment but he did say they would repaint it so it looks better.

So just wanted to say that the Service Advisor I used to go to is no longer there. After the last experience I had. I will never be back to Bob Stall Chevrolet again!
