Susan and i have a fantastic time, everyone was awesome. John, we hope you had a good time, we did not get to see alot of you and hope you will come back for more road trips.
The weather was perfect, the driving and food was great. The trip was, well great! Thank you everybody and for those that anonymously(sp?) paid for our dinner and breakfast today, thank you very much!
The corvette family is amazing and we look forward to meeting more of you out there.
Ted and Mimi, congrats!

Shucks! We missed this one, but school comes first.
Wait a second, did I see Keith riding in Dennis' car? What's up with that?
Congrats Ted and Mimi!

I have an idea for the next trip ... FOB training. What the buttons do, what happens when you push the cute little "horn" button. how to turn the damn thing off.

I know somebody that might need a little FOB training! Or, let's wake up all of the hotel guests with the Corvette alarms.

Hey Everyone,
Nia & Mark had a great time! Doug & Susan thank you for coordinating this.
Bob & Laurie & Jim & Jan Thank you for welcoming us personally to the group, we had a blast and you guys made it great!
Nia commented on the fact that instead of hanging out with her friends in some prentious Hollywood(weird) club standing in line behind the velvet rope, she really enjoyed hanging out with people who only care about having fun and enjoying life with a drink in your hand! (SANGRIA)
I can't believe how much I pushed my beast in Death Valley, what a rush, and I only paid for it with 5/8 of a take of gas and one bolt clip on the front fascia on my Z06 air dam!
We'll see you guys on the Mt Baldy Run on Sunday!
Mark & Nia.

Thanks Doug,...a lot of thought and effort went into planning this weekend to Lone Pine. Donna and I really had a lot of fun,...so many good laughs. We enjoyed getting to know old friends better, and meeting new friends. This is a really great group of people. We enjoy all of them so much. Thanks to everyone! Vince

Very nice pictures. As some of you know Susan and I stayed in the old section of the Dow Villa Hotel and were intrigued at all the history posted on the walls etc. The place must have been amazing when it was used to house the movie crews back in the old days. The drive out to Furnace Creak on Saturday was awesome, wide open roads allowing the braver Corvettes drivers to feel some WOT driving. Our trip back home was toped off with a stop at Red Rock Canyon to take the nature walk, very interesting and a chance to stretch the legs. We also took Angeles Forest Hwy. from Palmdale back to LA. to see last years fire damage. I was totally amazed to see the burnt hills covered with a large variety of wild flowers. The previously stark barren hillsides have now come to life again with a beautiful collage of color. In all Susan and I had a great time.
