Congratulations Scott-1st Place today @ Edelbrock Show!
Scott Johnson wins FIRST PLACE in model years 2000 and up today at The Edelbrock Rev'ved Up 4 Kids Car Show in Torrance! This year trophies were passed out for First Place only, in each catagory.
Way to go Scott, the trophy was very well deserved, you car is awesome!
Scott signed up for VIP parking, which was supposed to be under the tent. The tent was full, but this spot, right next to the entrance to Vic's Garage, was an excellent location.
Accepting the trophy

This guy won for the best of the 90's, with his 1892 Horseless Carriage (its in the 90's!). Starting with an actual carriage, then some reconstruction, and in place of the horse, is a 392 hemi. Some guys have more dollars than sense!
The Edelbrocks always put on a first class show, with Vic's Museum open and packed full of beautiful cars, Hot Rod TV broadcasting live, Vic was signing autographs, The Edelbrock truck was set up displaying products & selling apparel, Meguairs truck was selling products and offering free advice, High School teams competing in an engine tear down & reassembly competition, food, music, beer garden, more vendors and lots of beautiful cars. What a great day. 100% of the funds raised support The Center For Learning Unlimited, which was there, and last year over $150,000 was raised! Its comforting to know the funds are really being donated as advertised!
Here's a few pics for Greg!

Mr Bubble is good stuff! You guys are jealous of my built in Jacuzzi, and you know damn well if you had one, you would use it!
Its also a great way to clean your wheels & tires, I fill it with 4 capfulls of car wash soap, pull the wheels/tires off, and let them soak for 10 minutes with the bubbles on and the rubber ducky floating around, pull them out and rinse them off in the shower, then dry, rejex-armorall and install. They come out better than new!
