IMPORTANT UPDATES

1. Prize Money Increased
The runner up amount had been increased to $120 for each class. What this means is that if you do not win your class but are second place you race for free that day!
Also the 1st place prize money for the 13second class had been increased to $300



2. Hotel Rates Lowered
The Aryes hotel has lowered the rate to $69/night (thanks to a little negotiating) if you have already booked your room the rate has already been lowered.



3. Odds of Winning the Brackets
This is based on the number of competitors. If only 50 people sign up then odds are there are only 12 cars in your class that leaves a 1 in 6 odds of winning something. Be sure to get in and enjoy some competition.



4. All Muscle Cars
This event will be open to all makes and models of muscle cars & hot rods Mopar, Ford & GM
While it is too late to change the info for this year, be sure to let everyone know that they are all welcome. NOW Including the cruise and car show.

Hey, that was good times. It's a shame what happened on the ROTW cruise.

The track was pretty good on Sunday.

This was my first time racing my Z06. It's also the first time running a car with a manual and that much power. I think I did pretty well for myself.

Best Run:
Density Altitude: 2923 feet
Relative Density: 91.72 %

60' - 2.156
330 - 5.585
1/8 - 8.337 @ 90.48
1000 - 10.668
1/4 - 12.631 @ 115.00MPH

According to http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...ect+ET+and+MPH the "Corrected" times seems fast, so I don't know how accurate it is, but it says:
12.189 @ 119.258 MPH

Hopefully I'll have my 60 fts down by the next LA Invasion.

In our 3rd year we finally transended all the boundaries and attracted all types of cars with a huge corvette showing this year. Especially on the cruise. Also the 5th gen Camaros, Stingrays, second and 3rd gen F bodies and other makes of Muscle car as well.

The event went great, the interview went well but they are looking for someone with track mgr experience and there are a couple out there unfortunately so I am a long shot for the job.
