Reason: UPDATE
I have a friend who works in the Pentagon and included this account of wounded soldiers who are brought into the Pentagon in a recent email:
Yes, it's true. Periodically, they bring in the wounded from Bethesda and Walter Reed. I've only seen it once. Honestly, I got so choked up I couldn't do it again. Seeing all those young, wounded, quiet solders and Marines being escorted through the halls with hundreds of Pentagon staff lining the way applauding is so touching and moving. There is so much love and support for these kids who have given so much. Sometimes I feel ashamed of myself for being so emotional about this. I guess ever since 9/11 this building has seen so much sorrow and pride it effects everyone. I have seen many of the staff stand there saluting and applauding with tears in their eyes.
Location: San Diego, CA, Point Loma-Home to the USN & USMC. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS.

It's a great thing to see.
Thank you very much for sharing this - you shouldn't be ashamed for caring . . . for being a decent, stand-up kind of guy; rather all the short-sighted, bleeding heart, whiney-ass liberals should be the ones to feel shame. It is a truly heart breaking scene you describe. That's why our military is always in my prayers.
