We are going to run a Tuning Special starting next week or Dec. 1st until the end of the month. Our tuning prices will be going up next year by $100.00.
So if you need a tune... take advantage of our special this month. Think of it as a present to yourself.

I believe you're referring to a "Dyno" tune, correct? If so, what type of dyno is it and what correction software is used?
Having more power is great, but how would one know if HCs at 15 MPH (the dreaded smog test speed that gives more people headaches than anything else) has not worsened?
Thanks!

Yes, I am referring to a dyno tune. I own a Dyno Dynamics 2wd A450DS, load bearing dyno. As for correction software I'm not sure what you're referring too. I use HP Tuners to flash the cars computer. As far as HC's are concerned you have nothing to worry about. If your car comes in passing smog it will leave passing smog after the tune. A properly aftermarket tuned vehicle will actually run cleaner than a factory tuned vehicle. I have personally tuned vehicles having them go to a smog station almost immediately and the cars ended up being cleaner than the average for that year. If you would in fact like to test my tune, there is a smog station next door that can run a quick pre-test to ensure your car is still running well within legal specifications! Call us if you may have any further questions.
Count me in! Just got an '08 and the new one needs a tune.
One question: Does this special include the free re-tune any time small mods are made (like earlier this year)?
I'd like to make an appointment for Dec. 12
Thanks!!!
Give Cris a call at the shop and he'll schedule you in.

As for your question: Yes, I will do free updates as long as the mods stay accordingly. If not, I will pro-rate you for any advance modifications.
Ryne is a top-notch tuner. He's been successful in getting significant safe horsepower out of my Vette other So Cal tuners could not. I highly recommend CMS.
No frills, just quality work at reasonable prices. And these guys are honest, too.
Mike is also a very sharp technician.

Soon as my warrantee is up I will want one of your full dyno tunes
Can I have a rain check on this great deal price

Dumb question for all... but I thought getting a tune does not void warranty? I didn't have to worry about it when I got my '05 tuned earlier this year, but my new '08 is still well within warranty and I would not want to put it at risk if that is the case! Thanks!

Officially speaking, any variation in the tune violates the warranty on the motor. Realistically speaking, you can always re-download a stock tune before you bring your Vette in for service if you are concerned with this matter. Some dealers are very flexible on this issue, whereas others have no flexibility at all.
Dealers get paid by GM for any warranty work performed under contract, so many don't care so much about an after market tune.
This is a great deal. Ryne has tuned 3 of my cars so far all with excellent results. When my Saab 9-7x 5.3 goes out of warranty I will be taking it there for a tune in the next couple of months.
CMS also does regular performance work too right? I was wondering if I purchased a 160 Thermo and Vararam for my LS3, would your shop be able to install it right before you tune it? If so, what would the cost be?
