Default How are my stock LS7 dyno numbers?

07 z06, 6k miles

I pulled the exhaust fuse and put on bridgestone runflat tires, those are the only changes to the car.

Did 3 pulls. The first 2 were back to back, then we let the car sit for about 15 minutes before the last pull. The last pull was the highest:

Dynojet SAE 447.97 HP 416.44 TQ

No A/F reading since I didn't have a bung.

Below average numbers?

Be honest, you won't hurt my feelings.

I'm no expert on C6 Z06 whp and wtq, but your whp dyno represents an 11% parastic loss of hp through the drivetrain (% of bhp lost in whp dyno). Parasitic losses of up to 15% in rwd cars are not unusual.

Of course as I say, I don't know how other C6 Z06 stock cars dyno, but I'm sure others will who know will weigh in.

I pulled 370.5 rwhp on my bone stock C6 MN6. 07 Z06 with intake and catback pulled 440 rwhp on the same dyno, but it was running rich. He was running ~ 10 to 1 where I was ~ 12 to 1. After a tune he pulled 475. You really need to check your AFR.

I have no plans to tune my car, so my A/F isn't of concern. I was just curious of my power numbers stock.

Thats about right. The last one I saw put down 440rwhp. So your good. He put down like 475rwhp with a quick tune.

I'll bet you and Oldmansan are talking about the same Z06 from CMS Dynoday.

I'm not sure if all the Z06s run rich from the factory so I was just relaying information. The numbers I put down and the Z06 put down were not on a DynoJet, so I can't intelligently comment on whether your numbers are normal or not.

I wasn't trying to steer you towards a tune, but the Z06 owner told me emphatically before his dyno run he wasn't going to tune his Z06. That changed quickly when he saw how rich it was running and his dyno numbers relative to other cars.

Nice numbers!

I'm happy with my numbers. As long as it didn't dyno ridiculously low, I'm cool with that.

That is almost exactly what my 07 Z pulled on the dyno with about 1,000 miles on it, showroom stock.

Sound like it real close - with a little tuning it'll wake right up and get up in the high 470's in the RWHP!

I've heard of others pulling higher but it might of been from the tune or just a better day and of course a different Dyno - You should be happy becuase it is a great baseline to build off of

Thanks,Matt

Those look to be STD numbers, not SAE corrected, so I can't compare them to mine. Good numbers nonetheless.

With a CAI, Ported and Polished intake and Tune it picked up a bit more.
