Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, but have been around mbworld.org for a while under username: MB_Forever. I arranged a private track rental at Famoso Raceway for a few cars, as I do once (sometimes twice) a year (benefits of knowing the owner personally . The list is actually now closed. However, I would be willing to add 3 to 4 more cars from this forum just to get some corvette participation and a variety in the mix. So whoever would like to join us, please PM me the following info: 1) Full Name (must match driver's license, as this will be used by track employees to admit participants at the track). Again, this is a private event. 2) E-mail Address 3) A good contact number in case I need to get hold of you for any last minute changes or updates (this is very important). 4) Please send payment via PayPal to: jsunner@hotmail.com as soon as possible. The payment is $200 per car + $6 PayPal fees for a total of $206 per car. Thanks and hope to see some of you there....

Those of you that know Famoso, you know that under normal operating schedule: March to September the temps are extremely high and not suitable for getting good times. Well, there is very good temps and good low DA from November through January. Unfortunately, the track is normally closed. As a favor to me, the owner has allowed me two private rentals during that period, and this is one of them Expected temps will be in the low 60s and DA of under 700 ft

The GTR ran 11.33 @ 12x with tune and a couple of bolt-ons...












The Quickest/Fastest Challenger in the country.... at the time, it ran 11.40 @ 120 mph NA but now is running 10.18 @ 136 mph supercharged. And make no mistake, it will hit 9s this time out.... []

Looks like I'll do a few sessions in the morning at Fontana, then head over to the strip, since you won't start running till about 1:00. A good Friend with a Porsche 997 TT may join me at both events as well. I'll let you know tonight.

I'm actually leaning toward the C6, since I'm only a few hundreths of a second off the overall #1 spot on the fast LS3 list. I've got the fastest Bolt on M6, but there is a guy just a bit faster with an auto...

The C5 will hit the Dyno at Haddad for a tune tomorrow. I don't want to beat it up right away, still needs some shakedown time.

This looks fantastic - There was a private event last year for Vettes and other GM cars but nothing as of yet!

I want to go but I need to get a roll-bar per the rules - wont be able to run faster than 11.5's w/out one.

So what I would like to do is: If you could put me on a list for the next event-
