Event for the wounded warriors on may 2

CORVETTES IN MOTION of Oceanside invite all to show their cars in a ONE OFF EVENT

We are taking our cars to the Wounded Warrior Battalion on May 2 to show them our cars and give them and their families a car show.
We will meet Saturday at 9:30 at the parking lot of Hometown Buffet in the K-Mart shopping center at 76 and College, in Oceanside and will leave to enter the base together.

To enter the base you will need valid drivers licenses and registration and of course insurance papers.

There are NO trophies however there is a small fee... one pack of hotdogs and a pack of buns per car to share with the marines and families. Bringing a side dish is always welcome.

We are parking on grass and road.

This should be a nice event for all.

I spent some time working for the Army Wounded Warrior Program back when they first stood up. You guys should reach out to their public affairs person, along with the Wounded Warrior Project people as well.

Sounds like a great opp!

I am one of those wounded warriors you guys are talking about....FYI....it sincerely means the world to us to have your continuing and ongoing support for all of this...when I was at Walter Reed (Army Hospital in MD) the Hells Angels and a couple of Vette clubs came to visit us and show us thier rides...It's just a great feeling to get out of your own head when your trying to re-adjust to society and having you folks come over and share your support for us with a great AMERICAN sports car is pretty damn cool.....on behalf of our wounded warriors....thank YOU!!!
