I thank you - it's people like yourself and the other Forum members that have chimed in that made my sacrifices with the effort - I fought in three wars / conflicts / disagreeements for this country The sad part is that I have been fighting the VA Government for almost 8 years to get the benefits they said they would provide when and if I needed them. Well I need them and their no where to be found!

Joe, this is my number 1 peeve with our government...
THEY make a deal with YOU, a contract more specifically, and when the politicians don`t do their job properly they start pulling money from Vets and others like you, thus BREAKING THE CONTRACT!!!!!
The government is the ONLY one that I know of who can blatantly break contracts like this.........all because these "gravy sucking politicians" can`t do their job properly!
It`s time we held them accountable, can`t balance the budget, can`t cut the pork? Then YOU DON`T GET PAID!!!

First off, I want to thank you for your service. I just read your post and wanted to give you the name of a man I met this past week. He was coordinating the Veterans Day Parade in San Diego and told me if my husband and/or father need help with their benefits to call him - he said that is his job.
Hopefully he can help you, too, so be looking for a PM from me with the info. Anyone else wanting the info please PM me.
