Default Installed a Callaway intake! ???

I know some of you have installed Callaway intakes on your C5s. I have a question regarding putting the shroud back on.

I just installed a Callaway Intake yeaterday. As many know I had to remove the radiator shroud. If you've done this you know what I'm going to ask. How do you reinsert the press fit pin with the metal retainers? I'm referring to the two metal retainers at the mid level of the shroad, not the seven fasteners at the bottom of the shroud.

When I was removing the shroad I simply pulled the press fit fasteners off the A/C condenser. They didn't break. I don't see how anyone could remove the metal retainers without taking the front end off? I tried to take the retainers off with the shroud off and could remove them.

So how have some of you put the mid level press fit fasteners and retainers back on the condenser?

Thanks.

Roger, Link and myself put the C6Z unit on our cars. Rog had a tool that helped. You may want to get in contact with him.

Good Luck

Thanks Benny!

Just for clarification the pins are still in the shroud but off the condenser. I never could get them off the shroud. So I just pulled and they pulled put out of the holes of mounting the shroud sits on.

The shroud is not fastened to the condenser at this point. But to tell you the truth I don't think it's going anywhere.
