Default Bracket Racing in Bakersfield Oct 18

Several of us from the West Coast Corvette Challenge are going to race against the other cars in the Summit Series Bracket Racing event.

Come out with your Corvette and join us. Some of us are staying at the Courtyard Marriot in Bakersfield. It is $80 a night and within walking distance to a Black Angus restaurant and some other places.

We have been doing this for the past few years and it is always a lot of fun.

I'll post more details about gate opening times, helmet requirements, track fees, and so on later.

Hope to see you there.

Gary, I was planning to go to Famoso that weekend. When I called, I was told if you went on Saturday, it was $30 for the driver and $80 to race for both days (Saturday and Sunday - and you had to pay for both days). If you went Sunday, it was $15 for driver and $40 to race.

I just swapped from 1 5/8" to 1 3/4" headers on my car and want to get a new baseline, I also just got a pair of ET Streets, so hopefully, I will finally have a little traction. My tentative plan was to run on Saturday, swap intakes Saturday night, then run again on Sunday.

Anyway, I might be interested in participating in the Corvette Challenge if you have one.
