Sorry to Duke/Earl who I mistakenly quoted for saying he lost two motors to a 160 thermostat. Upon reviewing the thread it was Jimman who stated two lost motors because of a 160 thermostat and $2700 in damage by a short shifter and 11K because of hydrolock. Sorry Duke, read too fast.
My opinions from my last post remain but keep in mind it does not apply to all. I have met many of you and you've all been nice sincere people but there's always, like anywhere else, a few group of people that always seem to be on the negative side. Just wish to avoid that. And, yes, a lot of vette owners are way over critical about even the smallest of things or topics, but hey, to each his own. Point was, if you cant or wont help someone with a positive or helpful comment, dont reply at all.
