Tony Andre the founder and president of Corvettes in Motion, Oceanside, Ca passed away today 9/21/08 after a long fight with his illness.

Tony was always a supporter of all area clubs and events. He encouraged everyone to enjoy the corvette camaraderie and love of the American Sport Car.

He would set up events for the family of corvettes he loved and the older cars he remembered and always invited everyone to come and enjoy. He was a great supporter of our local Military and charities. He always worked for the club and tried to make it the "members club".
What we wanted.

We will all miss him.

To show our support and wishes, we would like to dedicate our next run/event to Tony and invite all of you to join us.

October 5, 08 we will leave the Hometown Buffet parking lot on College and I 76 at 0930 and go for brunch and shopping to the rustic town of Idyllwild.

This is one of his most loved runs.

Information on services will be coming. Please feel free to e-mail me if you need info. Also pass along to all concerned.

mikes72corvette@hotmail.com

Again all are invited on our October memorial event. Rather you wish to lift one or salute one come and join us

What a shock, I knew him well and your right he was always supporting driving the Corvette rather than just looking and washing. He will be missed and I hope to join the event in Oct.

Real sorry to hear he passed away. I didn't know him personally, but he was a Corvette brother none the less.

I'm sorry to hear about Tony. I know he battled his illness for some time.
He was great member of the Corvette community and a friend.
Tony's club was very appropriately named "Corvettes in Motion".
He was always of the opinion that Corvettes are for driving!!

We'll miss you Tony.

We knew Tony & his wife Debbie when they belonged to the North Coast club. Our sympathies to his survivors.

We are so sad to hear of Tony's passing. Tony was a great guy and loved Corvettes. Tony felt that Corvettes should be driven and enjoyed and was a real leader in the Corvette Community. Tony's hard work and coordination introduced us to many new Corvette friends. We will miss Tony.
