Default I've retired

After 3 1/2 years as a paid employee and close to 5 years volunteering my services, I have now retired from Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School. It has been a fabulous ride, a real dream job come true. I’ve learned so much, worked with fabulous people and met Corvette friends from all over the world.

There will now be time for Mike & I to enjoy our Corvettes and our wonderful Corvette friends. Look for us traveling around in our 2006 Silver Z06 or 2008 Jet Stream Blue Z51 coupe.

Anthony D’Avanzo will be taking my place on the forums. Please welcome Anthony to the forums and say hello to him at Corvette shows across the country. Anthony can be reached at Anthony@racespringmountain.com.

I hope to see many of you during my Corvette travels.

Janet

Janet, you are a true enthusiast and a great member of the Corvette Community. Thanks again for the INCREDIBLE support you showed for my Bate's Nut Farm Picnic.

Welcome to the club, Janet. Does this mean we can actually get together for dinner some time?

Janet in my opinion it’s a big lose to Spring Mountain, and I am sure they are aware of it. You are a true professional and one of the nicest people one could ever get to know. You will sadly be missed!

In your early retirement, we all hope that you and Mike have as much fun as you have help all of us have.

Janet
Congratulations on the retirement!!! I did the same three months ago after over 32 years in Law Enforcement. I've enjoyed talking with you at the A&A pinics, SEMA and various other places, and truly enjoyed my expreience at Spring Moutain, and look forward to next time.
When in the San Diego area look us up, the margie's will be on us.
Good Luck

I have to second what my buddy Benny said and I agree, any time you guy's are is SD the margies are on us.

MVCC meets the first Sat of each month, bring your Corvette to SD and go with us on a run.

Who's gonna be the life of the party now?

I hope we see you and Mike at the track; It's kinda dull without you.

Congrats on all your accomplishments for Spring Mountain & the Corvette community over the last several years. You will be missed.

So I went into this little hamburger joint (Adelanto, maybe) while on a motorcycle trip with a buddy of mine and I spot a young guy wearing a Spring Mtn t-shirt. I said something like, "That's a great track." And that I have run my C5 Z06 there a few times. He tells me his mother works there. Then his dad comes over and hands me a business card: "Janet Curran." "So your mom is Janet Curran?", I said to the younger guy who seemed quite surprised at my reaction. I told them see her posting on the Corvette Forum and that I'm going to the next Corvette track days. Small world.

Congratulations, Janet!
