Default LA Performance Exhaust Prototype

I just got the prototype of our new exhaust system installed on my car. It is a 3" stainless steel system with 4" resonated tips. It sounds amazing and gave the car a whole new character. We dynoed it just to see what would happen as my car has a H/C/I and the system was actually created with the FI crowd in mind. We expected to lose a few pounds of torque on the low end with a small gain up top. Instead, we were thrilled to discover that the new exhaust actually INCREASED torque and horsepower across the board. We are also going to test the system on a twin turbo car next week. I will post dyno results from both cars along with sound bytes soon. In the meantime, here are a few pics. Please let me know what you think.

Small video clip of exhaust. I will get one on the dyno of a turbo car this week.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEkuPPAX8iw

Thanks to all who have given us feedback on the exhaust. We are offering the first 10 buyers an introductory price of 1199.00 + shipping for our 3" Exhaust with quad tips. This system is mandrel bent and made with 304 stainless steel.

For local purchasers we are also offering a 25% discount on installation.

Keith

They look great! What is that other "bulge" just before the tip, opposite the normal placement of a muffler, a second muffler?

I heard them last night and I can tell you, I think the sound great, very clean sound. I don't know what they sound like inside the car but from the outside I didn't notice any resonation.

What you see is a second can/muffler before the tips. We will also be able to do longer resonator if anyone wants one that is a little more reserved in sound.

Hey Blue Blood,
How was the drive home. I heard your car when you left and sounds very mean. Have a good trip and be safe.
Keith

The price will be nailed down and posted next week along with the sound clips.

Thanks everyone. We are working hard to bring some of our own products to the market and keep the pricing very reasonable. I am excited about what we are working on already for this year.

socalenergyman...It was great meeting you today. Your car sounded nice when you accelerated leaving the shop today. I bet you enjoyed the ride home. See you soon.

As far as drone on the highway, I will see tomorrow on my journey down to the block. I will post what I think about it when I get home.
