Hey George.....

Here's the deal.... I almost never change the A6 tune for anyone....But, it seems like you might benefit....

While in Florida the last time, I modified it twice.... First for a real nice Procharger car making some impressive numbers and the other was a wicked twin turbo......

The calibration had to be change to make the best use of those types of vehicles and I think that yours might fit into the same category....

No need to sign up for you with a deposit... Since you've already been tuned, just stop by and let me see what's been done and what we could possibly do with it.....

Would it be possible to have the stat, a vararam installed and the tune? I am garage-less at the moment and would love to get it done.

OK I am so ready to do this but have a few questions please.
1. I am ready to install the qtp cutouts, should i do this before the tune?
2. Can you PM with the cost for the tune, Varaam install?
3. Do you install the low temp stat at that time?
4. What is the cost of the A6 attack package and being a casual driver of my car what can i expect out of it.

Excuse my ignorance on these questions but although I am a car nut I am not always so technically inclined until I start to wrench on them.

Rick! You could go see Charlie at RPM Motors in Santa Clarita Ca. I would think he could take care of any tuning problem you might encounter with your C6.

You have a very good point, maybe that's why nobody is responding to your question. I've heard that Charlie @ RPM backs up all of his work.

Charlie @ RPM Motors did a great job on my Z's tune. He is located in SoCal and stands behind his work---what more do you need? Charlie will continue to get my business.

I posted this last night in the general forum and have received about 10 PM's all with rave reviews. Charlie and LAPD are awesome, soemtimes people like to try something from a different region though. I am doing it because it will be exactly 900 feet from my office.

I don't know Chuck from Adam but I think that comment is a bit harsh.

Worst case is you pop out the pcm and send it back to him for a reflash. IMHO it is not a big deal

Here's your answer:
Nobody throws codes when Chuck tunes their car.
"This guy Chuck" has tuned cars all over the country (and outside), i am pretty sure that he tuned more than others, and i can also tell you for a fact that nobody threw codes and nobody had any other problems either.
I have not heard anybody complain about his work or somebody complain that they have not been taken care of.

Do a search on the forum for Chuck CoW and see for yourself.

Hope that answers your question
even though you are not interested in getting a tune from him.

Unfortunatley, installs are not something that he can do when traveling, sometimes the shops are not prepared for installs and he does not have the tools with him. I would ask somebody at Airhead Kustoms to see if they would do it for you while Chuck is there.

Sounds like you overpaid a little

But seriously I understand what you are saying and can understand anyones apprehension to doing any modification. It is just a car, pieces of plastic and metal that we can enjoy. It does not melt in the rain, it out performs almost all others, oh and did i mention you overpaid!!

What would you be out? The $5 shipping charge and 30 minutes to remove the PCM.

I bet he would even pick up the shipping charge.

Excuse me if you want your car up on a dyno go to another tunning event.

I hope I don't see you post in this thread again, consider this a warning.
