Default WANTED - Some Info. On '06 C6 CAI Install (Vararam & Callaway Honker)

Hi Guys - I'm considering going with a Cold Air Intake (Vararam or Callaway Honker) on my 2006 C6 A6. After reading the install instructions (cutting radiator shroud), I don't really want to take on this project with my limited mechanical skills.

Can anyone recommend a good shop to install it? And, approx. how much for the install? Or, are there any members that are willing to install the CAI on my C6 for some cash + Vodka/Beer. Please let me know.

Thanks - Keith

You can buy the shroud already cut from Vararam for 49.95

It shouldn't be to hard to install.

Hi Keith, go see Charlie. He will take good care of you. His work is second to none and his price is very very reasonable. BUT be warned on the Vararam!!! I had one on my old C6 and freaked out when I removed it and saw all the junk that pass through the filter. If you are going to be at the OC meeting I'll tell you more.

Guys - Thanks for your input and recommendations.

I had a very nice and informative conversation with Charlie at RPM this afternoon. He took the time to answer all of my dumb questions regarding CAI and tunes. He's a great guy!
