Default Best Detailer In So Cal.

Ok, if your looking for the best detailer, look here. First, a little preamble:

I recently had my car serviced at the stealer. They had it for awhile and before delivery decided to clean it up for me and wax it.

Well, when I picked it up, it looked great in the afternoon, but when I washed it later that week, HOLY CRUD ! Scratches everywhere in my Black paint. It wasnt just random either, it was EVERYWHERE!!!

So, rather than risk the dealer doing more carnage, I called my brother who sells Rolls Royce and Ferrari in Newport Beach. He told me not to worry and to call Innovative Detailing and speak to the owner, David Sylican. My brother called him a "miracle worker". Dave has been in the business of detailing high end vehicles for the past 24 years. He is an expert in the field of auto finish.

Talked to Dave and he put me at ease right away. Set an appointment and he showed up at the time promised.

He arrived in a new Denalli, fully ecquipped trailer with all the tools along with Dionized water, two crew members and they immediatley went to work. All were polite, well mannered and it was a joy to have them at my home.

The work was the best I have ever seen and every attention to detail was executed.

Best of all: SCRATCHES GONE !!!!!! Car looks absolutley sick. A beautiful, wet finish. Better than the day I got it off the showroom floor.

Dave is coming back next week and installing a clear bra. Dave has installed clear bras on too many to count of Ferrari's, Porsche, Lambo's, Aston Martin, Rolls and yes, Corvettes.

I scanned in his business card for your reference in the future.

If any of you folks need any further reference from me, just ask.

I called him up at had him come out to do a $185 detail on my car.

Told him I expected it to look like Ed's car.

He never even got to start the job. As I was opening the garage he had a coronary.

I hope he has good health insurance.....

I dont know, you would have to ask him.

My car was obviously more money because of the paint damage.

While they were there today they also did a complete in and out detail of my 2003 Excursion. Thing looks like a shiny Exxon Valdez that smells purty again.

BTW, most detailers just wet your carpet and move on, these guys really steam cleaned my carpet in the X and beautifully restored it to new without all that excess moisture left behind.

Oli,
I believe he does "detailing". He doesn't do major body repair!

Sounds like they may have used a dirty clay bar Ed. That will scratch the crap out of your paint everywhere . JEFF

Thanks for the info! Blooty needs it after all this rain and mud, and I'm sick of detailing cars myself.

Dave @ Innovative Detailing
I don't see engine detailing listed. Do you offer that service, including re-polishing aluminum manifolds/parts?

Thanks
