OCC California Speedway 27th and 28th results
OCC would like to congraulate some of its customers for a great showing at Cal Speedway on both the road course and the drag strip.
All of these customers have been tuned and setup with the exception of Steve Abbott by OCC.
We installed a rollcage for Steve and we are installing a clutch for him right now.
Sunday was a slower road course track because of the heat and dust on the track.
Road course lap times:
Red Group
Oli Thordarson:--:109.1 Sunday
Steve Abbott:---:110.1 Saturday
Craig Dale:------:111.1 Saturday
Mark Giordo:----:High 111's Saturday
Drag Strip times:
Romeo Genilo: 11.7 @ 121 MPH 420 RWHP
Brian Haytack: 11.8 @ 118
Congradulations guys!
I'll update with more names later when the times are posted.

I am sorry I missed Saturday. Sunday was a great group of Corvette drivers. Everyone did very well. I am really impressed with some of the new guys. They are improving rapidly and they are nice guys, too.
Sean is too modest to say, but he did very well in a stock C6 with run flats. He posted a lap time .6xx better than I could do in his car.
I would like to try the drag strip sometime out there. Can one of you drag guys muster up some patience and coach a really lame guy who can't even keep his car hooked up coming out of pit lane? That would be fun and a whole new experience for me.

What car was Romeo Genilo driving ? The quickest vette I saw ran an 11.8XX @118.XX if remember correctly. I overheard him saying he was running quite a bit of nitrous as well. It was a white convertible C5. There was also a bone stock blue C6 Z06 who was running consistent 12.6/12.7's at 117.XX Several drivers had mentioned that they were running crappy times as well.

Hey csula saw that you had massive traction issues even with the nittos. Good mph considering the weather and the mods. Any plans on wanting to go back in a month with more traction to see what your cam only setup will do.

Romeo was driving the white vert. He has a stock engine with a 75 shot. I changed Brian's time, I was wrong on the time. I heard his time was 11.8 @ 118 .

All I did was break my tranny in my first run group on Sunday. Soon to be fixed, and made better, by OCC. Thanks, Sean, for spending time figuring it out.
