Hooter Moreno Valley Toy Drive 12/09/07
I know it's a little early but Christmas will be here before you know it.
5th Annual Hooters Toy Drive, CA Dec 9th
Nothing says Christmas like a gathering at Hooters.
This year we will be changing the location to the New Hooters in Moreno Valley.
This is a chance for you and your Club/Forum to help support Hooters with their Toy Drive.
Everyone is welcome to the gathering toy or no toy.
If you chose to help support the Toy Drive please bring an unwrapped toy valued at a minimum of $15.00 dollars.
HOOTERS Moreno Valley Sunday Dec 9th
Time 9:00 am till 12 pm
Location Hooters
6255 Valley Springs Parkway #17
Riverside, CA
Where the 60 and the 215 meet.
Will have Map soon
Hooters Moreno Valley has a very large parking area so the Forum group will have no problem keeping all the cars together.
(THERE IS NO VALET PARKING FOR AT THIS HOOTERS)
I would like to give the manager of Hooters an estimated number of cars by Nov 30th so please sign up on this post.
Would someone like to handle the Cruise for after lunch?

Anyone interested in trying to support both the Hooters Run (Moreno Valley) and the run to Camp Penalton? It's about 85 miles down 15-S and cut across the 76 to Oceanside and to the base. (Unless someone knows of a short cut???)

GREAT THOUGHT. The times work out. We should be done by 12:00 at Hooters then a cruise to the Marine BBQ.

Route options - Hooters to Pendleton
For those doing both events, here are two route options from Hooters Moreno Valley to Camp Pendleton Basilone Gate:
The north route ( 91 to 55 to 5 ) assumes that we would not use the 241 tollroad since not all would have EZ-pass transponders.
North route, Hooters to Pendleton: 82 miles
The south route would be south on the 17, west on 76, north on 5.
Ortega Highway would be a bit shorter, but can be a 20 MPH funeral crawl on Sunday afternoons if stuck behind a 30 foot motorhome.
South route, Hooters to Pendleton: 86 miles
North map:
South map:
My preference is the south route, if only to not double back on the same route that we took from the Block!
