I've already met Aaron I think he still owes me money and besides I don't want him to know that you sent me he may think I can drive fast like you. I hope it's not too hot the last time I was there my outside air temp gauge read 116 degrees.

Hey Bro I thought you were joking that's why I was laughing, I'm going to sign up for Sunday, I'm going to make one more run on a set of track rims and tires since I know how big of a difference it makes

No, it needs a new clutch. Definitely a good idea to cruise around the pits and get a feel for it. I did the same about 2 mos ago at a NASA event.

I'm still hoping the Dec 1,2 event is open to all classes. The last one they did on the roval was with a PCA event and there were no novice groups allowed.

No no, just get the suspension and the Clutch working properly.

Mandatory:
new Clutch (Next weekend.)

Wheel Bearings for the rear and Bushings for the control arms.

Like to have:
Radiator Flush
New coolant Hoses
Serpentine Belt
Front Brake shoes.

I think all these items working properly and the car would be ready to run with Speed Ventures.

Let me preface that with, there are some fast guys running with SV, but then there are a lot of guys that have a regular old street car. They(I am)are perfectly content to just drive fast on the track for their own enjoyment.

The PCA guys.....well they all have those little jacks on the bottom of their car, where you flip a switch and the car lifts up on it's own. They are serious.

but driving fast on the track is still hard on a car. Weak systems will show up on scorching hot Fontana Day.

But this sounds like it is going to be a great GTG for the Local Vettes. I'm hoping we can all get a spot together Either in the Garages or at least daisy chain a bunch of EZ ups together to create some shade.

How does this part work? Are all the infield spots reserved through the organizers, assigned, or is it otherwise every man for himself? Are you actually inside the garage itself?

Historically at other organizations there has been a charge for the garages. With Speed Ventures it has been first come, first served on garages. This time SV is selling/reserving them to prevent some the past commotion/fighting for garages as people roll in.

Well, I have everything enroute to my location thanks to several Corvette forum members assistance. It looks like I'll be able to participate and you'll be standing alone hehe.

OK this get pretty weak, I had my tires mounted on my wheels today, my order consisted of the following C-5 Z06 12" replica wheels for the rear and C-6 Z06 replica wheels for the front. My C-5 Z06 wheels fit perfectly ,however; my C-6 Z06 front hit the caliber
I couldn't believe it, needless to say I wasn't to pleased about this. I guess someone at the shipping station shipped me the C-6 Z06 replicas for the C-6 not the Z06 that I ordered. I guess I'll be in full street trim.
