Cars N Coffee is very close but I find those gathered at Donut Derelicts friendlier. That said, the Sparky-led monthly Corvette drive group was pleasurable in my first foray last month.

I tried to spread that word to a '67 C2 (427 Vert w/ sides) this morning, but he outran my Smart ForTwo Cabrio!

Yep, the donut shop is the best. I love talking with all the old-timers who built their own cars. I try to make it out there a few times a year as its EARLY... makes C&C seem like sleeping in.

I am finding C&C to be one big douche fest these days and heavily prefer the built vs. bought mentality of the donut shop.

I've lived all my 73 years in the LA area, except in San Antonio for AF basic training and flight school. Grew up in Westchester, lived for years on the Marina del Rey peninsula. La Crescenta since 81.
