I know it's the day after A&A's Big Bash, but that's the only day we have left.
We'll be meeting at 7:30 AM and leaving at 8 AM for a cruise up to Mount Baldy with lunch there at this quaint eatery.
Last year I had an opportunity to do this and it was a blast with a whole bunch of twisties!!! Remember, your car will get dusty, so don't wash it!
Lastly, this is not affliated with any car club, you are on your own to go if you desire, no one is forcing you to go.
I'll have maps and it will be a fun morning!!!
See you there,
Sparky
P.S. If you don't want to go to Baldy, then we won't.
P.S.S. The Tour de Baldy (courtesy of Corvette Super Sports), as it is called is 41.8 miles long from La Verne, where we'll be starting from.
You can look at L.A. County Thomas Guide 570(end of Baseline and east on Foothill)-569(up Valley Center to Sierra Madre)-568(up San Gabriel Canyon Rd)-569(up San Gabriel Canyon Rd)-509(Glendora Mt. Rd. towards east)-511(east to Mt. Baldy) to see the approx. route. We'll be eating lunch at the Buckhorn Restaurant in the city of Mt. Baldy.
To Start The Run, After We Leave Kk's, We"ll Be Meeting In The Denny's Parking Lot Which Is Located At The Intersection Of Foothill And Baseline, In La Verne, Across The Street From The Car Wash.
This is my favorite area to cruise. I've been going up there for years except i get to glendora mtn. ridge road via azusa canyon. I'm looking foward to this one. Great views and non stop twisties.
This is going to be a fun morning. The cruise will take about 2-3 hours after we leave Denny's and end up at My. Baldy, so please bring your cameras and water.
To all the other guys that want to stay at Krispy Kremes longer...have fun and say hello to all the other guys and gals for us and we'll see you next month.
It's always to fun to change things around and add a little variety to life.
