I got my C5 Z16 at Foothill Chevrolet in Foothill Ranch, but I must say I have not come away as a satisfied warranty repair client. I just don't feel like they are pulling for my interests over there.
I am beginning to consider picking up a new C6 Z06. It will definitely not be from Foothill Chevrolet.
I have all my non-warranty work done by Orange County Corvette in the Irvine Auto Center. Sean of OC Corvette speaks positively of the warranty work and service manager at Power Chevrolet over there. I have not yet had occassion to personally be able to vouch for a service experience at Power.
Whoever earns my warranty service work will earn the preferred opportunity to sell me my next Z06.

I don't understand that ****. If the car rolls in...I want to perform every bit of service I can.......even if it means billing GM for the work. I go to work to make money but some go for the bagels on casual Friday.
I have been going to Nicholas (formerly Eddie Hopper) in Garden Grove since 1977.. Ed Hughes the service manager has a Corvette himself.
I've walked out of Selman and Classic both and wouldnt go back.

Hi Kris,
Last week I took in my C6 to Selman for a under warranty radio replacement. They returned it with a scratched temp screen/plastic around this screen, console not put back properly, passenger air bag button not working, lock for console not working, top of radio not flush with console and now it creaks and groans!
Crap, I dread bringing it back. I was off yesterday and I couldn't bring myself to bring it in. They also have to check for the flying away top...I can imagine what they may do to my car with that one.

And I was gonna drop by Classic to get them to look at the car's roof, guess I'll make a detour to Connell. And yes, Selman sucks bigtime.
I still have to go to Selmans but might try Guaranty for the roof...fingers crossed!
They took very good care of my vette. Did not wash it. Work was done on time as promised. Car was parked away from all the other cars to be picked up, with no other cars around it. I was very pleased. Also, a friend of mine from work had some major engine work done and he was also very pleased with their service.
