Default El Cajon Cruise Nite..Wed. 4-12-06

The weekly El Cajon Cruise Night starts this Wed. 4-12-06 and every Wed. thru the summer months.

Some of us vette guys are going to meet west of Magnolia by the SD CO Credit Union building. Go early to be sure to get a parking spot on the street.

I'm will try and be there by around 4 or 4:40. If you can save me a spot that would be great. I will give you a call this evening when I get in from work.

The word is that they are going to shut down main street from the court house to Magnolia and park cars down the side and center of the street

Jim, Benny, Roho.........
I'm heading down there about 4pm. I hope there are parking spaces in front of the San Diego County Credit Union office on the north side of Main. If not, I'll try to park in the parking lot to the north. Since that's west of Magnolia, Main St. should be open. Only east of Magnolia to the court house will they have it closed down.

Dennis, I`ve never been to the El Cajon cruz, is it comparable to the Escondido cruz in size & quality?

I`m also not familiar with that area, can you give me directions?
I`ll be comming from Carlsbad/O`Side border, probably take 78 east to 15 south, then 8 east...... it`s from there I`ll need your help!

If you have a better route that you can suggest, I`m all

Perhaps you can also PM me your cell and I`ll arrange to meet you, I`ll probably leave around 2:30-3pm to avoid rush hour, should take aprox 1-1 1/2 hours to get there depending on traffic!

Hey Rick,
The EC cruise nite is alittle smaller than Escondido's...but it's been around along too. Roho can tell you about all the old time hot rodders in the El Cajon area....since he's one of them! It caters to the pre-1972 cars, but the newer vette guys have been starting to meet in front of the SD CO Credit Union building at 312 West Main. There's also a huge parking lot behind and next to the CU office if the street is full. The CU is on the north side of Main St.

You can do a mapquest.com on this address, or come east on 52 and stay on it as it transitions into 125 south. Stay on 125 south to I-8 east, and exit at El Cajon Blvd or West Main St exit if you miss the first exit. EC Blvd curves east around into west Main Street. We'll be on your left just around the curve onto Main. Easy to find. It would be cool to start getting a bunch of vettes together for this each week. I'm sure Vinny will show up.....he kinda started it last year.
