I will be going up to the meeting at the Block at Orange....Usually 20 to 30 C-6 owners there....From there we will all (?) be caravaning over to the Museum.....If you decide to go P.M. me and we can caravan from San Diego also....(anyone else)..?
My wife and I are planning to go to the "Orange Block" and then on to the Peterson Museum. Where is the San Diego group meeting and what time? I was thinking maybe meeting at the Park-n-Ride on the northwest corner of I-5 @ hwy 78 at 7:00 A.M. and leaving at 7:10. What say you all? I'm not sure how to get to where we're going so I hope someone that does will lead.
Let's see..Museum opens at 10. 100 miles on I-5 in 30-60 minutes.

Last month I went to a car show in San Diego. I left Placentia (57 Fwy x 91 Fwy) at 0630 on a Saturday morning and arrived at Front St. in San Diego off the 5 Fwy in........1 hour, 7 minutes, 45 seconds...it can be done!
Oh, and by the way, what's a ticket???
What do I mean by the above line? Well, I'm doing 100 in the number one lane, freeway is deserted and I see a CHP entering the fwy behind me. I take my foot off the accelerator and start slowing down to around 90. The pickup behind me, who's been tailgaiting me like the Daytona 500, probably thinks "why is that azzhole slowing down?" and proceeds to speed up to 100 as he goes around to pass me.
I turn to my wife and say "I don't think that guy sees the CHP!" He doesn't because the CHP is on his azz with the flashers and pulls him over.
Shaking my head I gently push it back up to 100 and continue on to my land speed record!!!

I'm up to meeting you for the ride up to the Block....I live in the Mission Valley area...near I-15....get back to me with a time and location..There were some others going from Escodido (?)..I think they were meeting up at the I-5 and 78 .. approx. 7to 7:10 A.M....for a ride to the Block and then to the Museum...Should be another great time....
