The Monterey Sports Car Championships and Chevy Presents Corvette Corral is fast approaching, so get your tickets now! A couple of things I want to alert you to, we have added a lodging page to the WesternCorvette.com website. This includes the Hilton Monterey where we have special room rate of $159. per night for Thurs. thru Sat. nights. Ken Albers from NBCA has also researched rooms in the Salinas area that have a lower rate than in Monterey. Check it out at:

The C6R Championship Banquet is set for Friday October 14th at the Monterey Hilton, room is limited with only 150 person capacity so get your reservations in for that too!

There will be a number of Caravan runs to the event on all days and we will get that info up as soon as this is complete too. Brent Ritz is putting together a Hurricane Relief run to Laguna Seca for Friday too, so check back for info on that too.

I purchased tickets for Saturday races as well as preferred parking months ago. Is the corral parking free? I'm coming from SoCal and only for Sat. I'd just as soon see my preferred parking pass go to someone else if that's the case. From what I can tell the pass is good for all three days. The recipient of my pass can donate the parking monies to the relief fund as deemed fit.

Hi all

We did finish our new C6 World Challenge race car and we are taking the "Twins" out to Laguna Seca this weekend for the Speed World Challenge race.

I will race my familiar #28 Corvette and my team mate Dino Crescentini will pilot the second C6.

If you hadn't heard, I won the Infineon Raceway round at Sears point and My team mate won the Portland Race. So we have 2wins under out belt.

We plan to bring the C6 race car over to the corral.
