It took me 5 days to learn that my friend Esther got out of New Orleans safely. Like so many others, she lost everything and is currently staying with friends in Houston. Job gone, house gone, possessions gone, everything else gone except what she could fit into her car. Esther does not plan on returning to New Orleans, home for some 20 years. Instead, she will probably relocate to Houston or San Antonio and start over. Her 8 year old son Isaac will never see his home or friends again. Many people need our help. If you don’t have an individual(s) to help and wish to see 100% of a gift used by the intended recipient, I ask that you consider helping Esther.
