Default How about a GTG next Sat., July 23, at Lori's Diner in Cupertino?

Lori's Diner just opened in Cupertino. They have a 50's style decor, and the owner is a car guy. They had a Classic Car Show Fri. and Sat., which I did not find out about until Fri. evening. Thus, the post about an emergency GTG. I enjoyed meeting jabez, and really like his MR C6. I talked to the manager, and he said they would be glad to host a GTG there. In fact, he offered us a free breakfast. And, if he has advance notice, he can reserve a parking area for us, like he did for the hot rod club (the Outcasts). They have good food, and friendly people. This seems like a great place to meet. So, I propose that we meet there next Saturday, July 23, at 10AM. (I checked the calendar, and did not see any events.) The address is 19933 Stevens Creek Boulevard (between De Anza Blvd. and Wolfe Rd.) Any interest?

Thanks for your help.

I found the people to be extremely friendly, and the food was just fine. The reviews were not for THIS place.

I might be able to make this. We enjoy the Lori's Diner in SF - great breakfast. I'm glad to see one open up down here.

No, it's just rare to find a place that likes car guys. The manager said he would give us free food, and reserve parking places for us. That doesn't happen at other places. Plus, it's close to my home.

Hmmm... Free food; reserved parking. This could work!

This sounds like a nice way to start Saturday morning! Toward end of the week I'll know if I am able to be there. I know this would be a great GTG

I stopped by Lori's Diner today, and verified with the manager that we would be there at 10AM on Saturday. He said he would reserve 10 parking places for us in front, and would give us free breakfast (we need to cover the tip). If we need more than 10 spaces, I need to know by Friday.
