Default Reno-Fernley track updated web site and Corvette event

http://www.reno-fernleyraceway.com/s...event.php?ID=6

Link to the event info and go to the main site to see their new look. Good picture of the current track also showing the expansion of the track area. Hope somebody from the forum makes it besides me.

Sorry about the Vette's being off track but come by and say Hi. Saturday looks to be the best but I'll be running Fri afternoon and Sun early as well. I think some will stay for the drags after running Sunday morning. I'm running a blue coupe with Z06 brake ducts added on Z06 wheels, they really help!

I remember the website saying something about needing a competition license for using the track. Is that only for test and tune days?

Yes, the test and tune is for race cars. This is run with The Next Level Driving School so it's for street cars and instruction
provided. I was told that I'm the most experienced entered and with only two years on track, that says we have rookie and down. I read some more of the info that ET provides on the Next Level web site and it's very good for new track people. Since I now have been through the video clip several dozen times I'm really ready for getting on track, looks like only two hard braking zones maybe just one and the rest is fairly high speed, should be a blast, once I figure out where to carry the speed. Then I get to go back in three weeks w/NCRC. From the bay area, RF is just about the same distance as Buttonwillow which is about as far as I'm interested in going at this point. Need to get to WSI in the future.
