come on guys and girls lets get a sunday get together going....i need to drive in the sun...and i miss all of ya and am dying to meet some new people....lets throw some ideas around and get together......
Car is at the tuner but should be back by Sunday April 10th. So, April 10th or any Sunday after that sounds good for me.
Idea - Maybe meet up in the Tacoma area mid-morning then cruise over to Sequim or Port Angeles for lunch/site seeing? Trip is about 100 miles one-way from Tacoma.
ok lets plan this...times and meeting locations?????

i think we should plan a trip for the 10th and all of us have to pray for some sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where is that car perry
Just talked to Andy and the new motor is almost ready and will be going into the car this afternoon
He said it is still a bit to early to tell but if all else goes well then we are still on schedule to pick the car up the end of next week
Corvette184 - Since my car being back on the 10th is not 100% for sure at this time, did you want to plan a cruise in case I am still in California and cannot attend? You can PM me if you want and we can work out a plan.
Can't make that weekend, but here's another chance for a different but fun "cruise" on the 24th of April: http://corvettesdeolympia.org/events/ACR%20Flyer.pdf
You don't even need to pre-register, just show up!
I'm a member of Corvettes de Olympia and every year our club hosts our big "All-City Rally". This is a "gimmick rally" where you have to follow a set of clues and directions to get to the end of the run. Typically this is run over about 70 miles of backroads in the greater Olympia area. The rally is open to the public and you don't even need a Vette to take part. You do need a navigator to help with the instructions so teh wife, SO, buddy or whoever gets to take part.
At the end, there are trophies for the top 5 finishers and a "Dead Last But Finished" award, food and then we raffle off a bucnch of door prizes. This year is our 25th annual running of the All-City Rally and we typically get 55-70 cars each year. Our club members don't run this as we all do the work.
All of the proceeds from the Rally go to our Automotive Scholarship Fund at South Sound Community College; the school matches our $1000 scholarship contribution each year to give students a chance in the automotive career field.
