Default CD Changer Installation Help in SD

Anyone in San Diego/Poway/Escondido,

I could use some guidance in removing all the panels/trim/carpet in the hatch area and right side through to the passenger foot well in an 04 coupe. I'm preparing to install a GM CD changer and would like to be prepared so as not to damage anything. I've got all the stuff for the install. I have no idea how these trim/panels are attached and the instructions just say to remove them - duh!

Ralph

Hey Ralph.... this is a link to instructions for doing the Frost King mod which requires removing all carpeting, panels, etc.... it may be helpful. It's a mod I'm planning on doing. Let me know when you may be doing this and perhaps I can stop by and help/watch.

My back was sore for a few days after doing the soundproofing. You're either bent over into the hatch area or on your knees doing the seat area. Might be fun to assist from a lawn chair with a cold one in hand .

Boz,

Thanks but the link doesn't quite give any insight in how to remove the panels other than the targa holders for the rear carpet. I am looking for a little more detail and have not been able to find it, even through a forum search. I think I'll go to a good body shop and ask an experienced technician before I start pulling stuff apart. It can't be too difficult but I don't want to take any chances with this. I'll probably do this after it stops raining for a while.
