Default Need help finding a body shop

Well it finally happened.
I was crossing an intersection and this idiot in an SUV turned left in front of me. (He was charged.)
I'm in Charlotte County, Fl and need recommendations for a good vette body man in this area. (Charlotte - Lee - Sarasota County) I don't want to take my baby to any body shop. I haven't needed one for the vette before so I'm at a loss. Can any of you Misfits or local vette owners help?

so sorry to see what happened, but Im glad youre OK......All I can reccommend is Do not go to Pro Comp in Cape Coral. I just had mine repaired at automotive specialties in Cape Coral. They did a good job, but I had to take it back once to be completed. I am going to email the gang and see if we can help you out.......hang in there

I third the thought on Pro Comp. Unless you like pit marks through out your paint job.....

call 239 332 4477 and ask for Richard. He works at a place called Jack's. Tell him that John gilletti recommended you to call. Just ask him who he recommends. I imagine they'd do it there, but if not, he will tell you exactly who is the best. I saw his paint on his stingray and it was (of course) way better than factory.

Mine is currently in *** Chevrolet Hospital with $11,000 to left front fender (I don't want to talk about it). I've liked their service work but am taking the chance on the body shop. If they don't do a good job I'll get the C6.

Default Body Shop Help

I would also recommend Paul Poppell - they did an excellent job on a Miata we had... however, I have never seen a Vet there. Don't know that he does fiberglass work. I would recommend calling him and asking him - great guy!
