[MISFITS] Maybe our last chance to go to the Celtic Ray

I was on the celtic ray website and they had a 'save the pub' campaign. We stopped in today for a pint of guinness and to see what the story is. The owner of the building is considering evicting the tenants and demolishing the building. The owners of the pub and other are appealing to the council, but they may not win. That being said, we want some fish n chips........Since the dyno was cancelled, Michelle and I will be heading up on Saturday October 16th for lunch, getting there around 1130.........If anyone is up for it, its a great time........if anyone in the south wants, we can meet at del tura publix at 11am or so........as usual, if youre gonna go please let us so know we can give the restaurant a heads up

Wow, it is exciting to hear that you guys want to come to Punta Gorda for anything. Unfortunately I am supposed to work Saturday, but if I can get out of it...Count Me In!!!

we actually go there a lot to a few different places......My wife and I are moving to PG within the month hopefully

Any other time I might have headed over, the weather is nice, and we would have made a weekend of it on the coast,,,,but it's Eckler's / Biketoberfest weekend, so we will be heading North. Have a great time.

Yes, Biketoberfest starts next weekend. Technically this was called Stars and Stripes weekend. But, they are trying to get Biketoberfest to last as long as Bikeweek and because of the hurricanes, they are trying to drum up business. Some of the vendors were there and Main St. was lined with bikes on both sides. There was a charity ride starting at the airport on Sunday with the boys from OCC leading the way. After checking out kewl cars at Ecklers we went up Saturday night to check out some kewl bikes.
