SE folks, any info on Virginia Beach?
Where is the center of the activities (family oriented)?
What streets does the boardwalk cover?
I plan to enjoy Beachstreet which looks fun with music, events, fireworks and also watching a Surf Competition on the weekend.
Looking for other fun stuff to do. Maybe kayaking and biking.
TIA

The boardwalk covers between 2nd st at Rudee inlet north to about 34th st.
If you go south on Pacific for about a mile past Rudee inlet, there is the Virginia marine science museum. pacific changes name to General Booth after the Rudee inlet bridge. Go aprox another mile and there is Ocean Breeze fun park. The park has a water park, batting cages, min. golf, and go cart park. You can actully bike to these locations. A co worker mentioned that there is a weekday kayak tour for the kids at the museum.
For biking and kayaking go north on Atlantic til it changes names to Shore drive and you'll find Seashore state park. They have lots of hiking trails and a 12 mile bike trail(Cape Henry trail)

Hope this helps some!

Also, if you are going to be here on a Saturday there is a local cruise-in at Jenro's on Independence Blvd. You can follow Shore drive to Independence Blvd then make a left onto Independence and go 3 or 4 miles and you'll see Jenro's on the right. You can't miss it with all of the old cars. The cruise-in starts around 3 until ....
