[Event] Classic Car Show 6/12/04 Front Royal, VA

The Chevy dealer that hosts our Skyline Drive cruise meeting spot is having a car show on Saturday, June 12th. I don't think that it will be all that big, but I am planning on going. It's a tough call because Vintage Thunder is that day as well. So, I'll probably go to Cecil and beat the '85 in the morning and then head out to Front Royal in the afternoon w/the red car.

Just thought I'd post this in case anyone wanted to meet up w/us there. I believe that there will be people's choice voting from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM so we plan on getting there around 3:00 PM. Also, free hot dogs...

I might be able to do it. That's a good Chevy dealer, too bad they're 130 miles from where I live.

I definitely plan on going to Cecil, whether I comptete or not. I'm feeling better, just not much energy.

The dealer is 150 miles from me as well...

Cecil is 25 miles from me in the opposite direction so I guess I'll have to get an equity loan so I can get enough gas for the day...

It was small but nice. The local Boy Scout troop BBQ'd hot dogs and hamburgers and the #8 car was there on display. This was the car wrecked last year at Dover...

Jim, I looked for you at Vintage Thunder and couldn't find you. There wouldn't have been time to do both things, eliminations didn't start till way late. Then I redlighted in the first round and ruined the fun. I had a nice cruise home so the day wasn't a waste.

Is that your 68 in the first pictures? Looks good.

With the weather as it was the day before, we figured that we'd skip the racing and just head out to the show. I'm glad the weather took a turn for the better for you all!

The red shark in the pictures is our '71.
