[RCG] Would you rather meet...

on a weekend day such as Saturday or Sunday, or are you happy with a weekday? Speaking for myself I am getting more & more frustrated with trying to get to the monthly meeting place by 6pm. I now have to leave my house at 4pm to get to the meet by 6pm. Traffic is a nightmare on any of the major interstates & its worse on the secondary roads.

Meeting on a weekend day would, I think, solve part of the problem. Tell me what you think & please vote in the poll. :seeya

I can't vote in my own poll but my choice is Saturday.

I voted for Saturday but Sunday would be fine also.

I think the weekends are better for north or southside meets. We can stay longer, eat/drink more, and will not have to fight rush our EVERY time.

I am not going to vote because it doesn't matter to me. I can understand the frustration of you folks that live far away! The traffic isn't going to get any better around here!! If the majority wants Saturdays, then I am fine with that!!!

Once this thread plays out and we get a feel for the results of your poll, I will post the results in an e-mail so those that are not on CF right now can have a voice as well. :cheers:

Would be nice to relax...have lunch...and not feel rushed to get home ( or fight RUSH hour traffic to get there!!!!!!)..and be able to socialize more!!

Saturday is fine with me, but Sunday is acceptable. I really think a Sunday brunch at T-Bones on the Lake is in order soon. I ageee that weekdays are hard on us coming from the south, but look at it this way, on a nice warm night, it puts you in the seat for a longer period of time. :hurray:

Sorry about this past weekend guys...they killed me last week at work. I didn't even drive my Z until about 3 p.m. on Sunday. :(

Ya know..there IS a T-Bones on Harris Blvd....just a ways down from Midtown Sundries.

Might I suggest a that we try that one as well as T-Bones on the Lake???

that would solve the North/South issue.

we went there with the Camino guys....great place..good food and the service was excellent!!
