Is this a club thing or open to the Corvette owners of the world? I got the email Jack sent out about it and would love to join in. I could meet up with Jack and the gang he is leading up at Horn's Restaraunt at Rts 301 and 17 that morning and tag along. Just got my new C5 last week, and she is just begging to join up with a bunch of Corvettes for a cool cruise!!!

It's for any Vettes, so please tag along
We also try to meet up in smaller groups and drive to Front Royal. So perhaps a few of us can hook up in Maryland...

Looks like my wife and I will be going. Thankfully we have a babysitter in Front Royal. Thanks for tipping me off on this 99C5VERT.

   We should be at the Horne's around 6:45 AM for a quick pit stop...look forward to meeting you there!

Then we go on to Fredericksburg (still on 17) and stop for breakfast and Gas at the Burger King on 1 just after 17 ties in

Looks like Jim maybe starting things a little early so we may have to bump the schedule up fifteen or twenty minutes or drive a little faster :D :D :D

I'll have more on this in an area wide e mail shortly

We made our pre-cruise scouting run today and look what we found on the mountain!

I will be posting the route and other pertinent info in a new thread that I hope to post today.

When I originally posed this event, we chose to benefit the Caringbridge.org website hosting service. Since Chip's passing, I'd like to benefit the Chip Miller Memorial Fund instead. Sound like a plan?

Let's show just how generous us Corvette Hobbyists can be when the going gets tough!

Give us the plan and it will be done :D

Now...as to the white stuff! What's your plan?

I'll try to make sure we have great weather that day, but I am not sure I can get rid of the snow :D :D :D

Great fun driving with you Jim. I'm really glad I had fresh tires on the front with all the wet stuff.

This cruise is going to have some nice surprises for everyone. I especially liked the startling view after lunch, a nice change of pace from leaving Brookside our usual burnout way. The ladies might like this part of the cruise better, but Mojo can still stop at Brookside and do burnouts if he comes down.

Rain or shine it's going to be good. There can't possibly still be snow that late in April!

 Probably 5:30 AM, that puts us in and around Fredericksburg a little after 7

Unfortunately, and in spite of my consumming enormous quantities of sausage and egg biscuits (no cheese..health concerns), the BK closed up

Building is still there...third traffic light north of the Coleman Bridge on 17, on your right...There is a Crown Station at the same light (hint Ron :D )

Generally Ron gets follks from the southside to rally over there and come over together

5:30! Oh man that means I have to get up even earlier than normal   while you are still   Jack! For the Southside if anyone wants to meet up over at the Lake Wright hotel I will be there until about 4:30 and then head across the water to meet Jack and the rest of the group. This is of course all contingent on Jack coming through with the weather. :skep:
