(SMC) Any interest in Raffle tickets for a C6 or the Last C5 Coupe
Hey Gang,
The NCM sent me a care package today. It was the NCM Ambassador package that I have been Waiting on for a few weeks .
Raffle Tickets for the Last C5 coupe were included. I have 10 tickets. The price is $25 dollars each.
Also included were 25 raffle tickets for a C6 Coupe. They are $10 each.
I will bring them with me to all the upcoming events. Hopefully one of us will have the good fortune to win one of these fine automobiles....
I appreciate the chance to serve as Ambassador for the SMC. There were several ideas included in the package for future events for the Cruisers.
The NCM offers club picnics at the NCM, road tours of the Kentucky back roads, Plant tours, and behind the scenes tours of the NCM . All of these activities are club related and tailored.....Hang on to your calendars...SMC has a chance to spread the Good fortune of Vette ownership and enjoy the Museum that is there for our benefit.

Odd how the C5 tix are 2.5 times the cost of the C6 tix. Hmm... one can only hope there were different quantities printed. What's our "odds of winning" Jim?

Lee,
Here is the info from the NCM website...
The last of the three C5 raffles features a C5 Corvette Coupe model offered as a Commemorative Edition . Tickets are only $25 each and an unlimited number of tickets will be sold. A winner will be drawn at our 10th Anniversary Corvette Celebration, Labor Day weekend as part of the grand finale activities on September 5, 2004.
?At the end of these raffles, three winners will be owners of the last and final C5 models to be built,? stated NCM Development Manager, Larry Hayes. ?What an exciting opportunity to own a piece of Corvette history, and we greatly appreciate the coordinating efforts of General Motors ? Chevrolet and the GM Corvette Assembly Plant in making this a reality.?
The winner of the Corvette raffle must be at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license. Winner need not be present to win. Available to participants worldwide, the raffle is void where prohibited by law. Winner is responsible for all taxes, fees and licenses.
C6 RAFFLE
The National Corvette Museum has announced the kick off of its annual Corvette raffle fundraiser featuring a 2005 Corvette Coupe. The annual raffle, which will run throughout the year, ends September 5, 2004 and is available to participants world-wide and is void where prohibited by law. An unlimited number of tickets will be sold at $10 each. The winner will be drawn as part of the 10th Anniversary Corvette Celebration event grand finale festivities Sunday September 5, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. Central Time.
Additional details and specifics on the 2005 Corvette Coupe will be made available in the coming months via our website. Over $250,000 was raised through the 2003 annual Corvette Celebration raffle, which is promoted and supported by NCM Ambassadors, members and Corvette enthusiasts world-wide. "We are thrilled to be offering a 2005 model Corvette as our annual fundraiser raffle," states NCM Executive Director. "Detailed information is not available at this time due to the model change over, but will be made public as we receive additional updates. We appreciate the support and help of so many who help make our annual raffles such a success."
Tickets are available online or by calling (800) 53-VETTE. Winner must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Winner is responsible for all taxes, fees and licenses.
This is only a guess but I can image the ticket prices are higher for the LAST C5 coupe. Basically a one in 75000 Coupes....Approximately 75,000 C5 Corvettes Coupes made each year since 1997. On top of that this one will not go to someone like MIDAMERICA. The NCM bought the last 3 C5's so they could be auctioned to us...The LITTLE people......
For what it is worth, Everyone of us has a chance to own a small and distinguished piece of C5 Corvette History.
The C6 Coupe price is cheaper because the plan is to build a bunch of them.....I mean...lots and lots of them....for years to come......
I have the tickets if anyone is interested. Thanks for the interest...... :steering:
