Re: (SMC) Anyone drive their vette in the Snow today....?? (Strick)
I took the Concorde out briefly. I was heading off to a meeting when I watched an SUV pull a 270* that blocked both lanes of my road. I went home shortly afterwards.

Avalanche!!!!!
I saw no snow at all on my way home. 30 minutes after getting home, it was snowing to beat the band. I took Gerry to work and the roads were still clear.

I only saw one C5 on the drive back from Nashville today. And it only took a little under 6 HRS to get here thanks to an over turned semi on Rockwood Mtn. :banghead:

Thats what you get for sleeping so late. I left Nashville @ 7:00am (CST) & came straight through with no problems. It would appear that the accident occured after I came by. BTW I saw 0 Corvettes. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that I left I-40 @ the first Rockwood exit and came up 70 the rest of the way. That may explain it.

Didn't try the roads today in my coupe! however, I got caught last sunday 15th after watching the Dayton race . Left Greenville, headed back to Morristown, and hit 2" of snow before making it home. I could not beleive how stable the car was even with those worn out F1's on the rear.
By the way Bob put new F1's and can still get sideways thanks to you!!
Location: Knoxville Tennessee Oak Ridge National Laboratory
