Atlanta/PSP - Anyone thinking about a fall foliage cruise?
The news tonight said the third week in October or thereabouts should be peak week in the north Georgia mountains. Anyone want to do a cruise to Brasstown Bald? I have a ton of travel and might not be able to find a common date with anyone else whose interested, but I thought I'd at least get a post going.

I would be up for something like that. I live about 12 miles outside of Helen so I cruise the mountains quite frequently and would love to have company.
Location: 63.8% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

I might be able to get away for the day. Are we talking the weekend of the 18th or the 25th? It seems to me that the peak is closer to the end of the month of Oct and sometimes it the first of Nov.

Ahhhh...the old Mexican Machete Marriage huh?
It's the only way she would say yes... 10 days!!
Use the old Tequila trick, mix it with coolaid, give her plenty place on plane and one in front of judge, just move head in yes motion when asked to answer. Usually works well in Mexico since some of the judges can speak English...

It sounds like most people are leaning towards the 25th/26th. Is this trip a go? Mark are you heading this up still?
Just got back in town and I'm leaving again for a week. Sorry I haven't been on the Forum lately.
Unfortunately, I have a wedding to go to on the 25th and the in-laws are here on the 26th, so I can't do either date. I think this will be one of the best weekends to do the foliage cruise, and I'm really sorry I can't do it this year. If you decide to shift it to another weekend, let me know and I'll do my best to go!
