See details below. Since it's only two miles from my house, I'll probably go. But, I'll be "Vette-less" since I left pieces of my 2nd gear at the intersection of Mercury Blvd and Armistead Ave. Coming back from the Yorktown show on the 4th, it started making a bad noise. Kelly says "What's that noise?" I said, "That's the sound of money leaving my pocket..." So we limped home and I (pick one): a. Removed the transmission to repair it. b. Tore off the front suspension to install the VB&P composite monospring that's been laying in my dining room for 3 months, while I convince myself that I need to upgrade to the Kiesler Tremec 5 speed!!! :cheers: We went as a group to this show a couple of years ago...great show! and a good time. Great location on the beach...take sunscreen, some of us burned ourselves to a crisp!

Anybody with no "time conflicts" ought to do it

Yep.... I think that is one of the best hip shots we have ever got. Well, maybe beside the girls at the Walsingham show or the Beachcombers show a couple years ago.

Hmmmm.

Yes Jack, Diane is adjusting. She starts school next Friday. Kids down here come back in another week and a half. We still have many boxes throughout the house. Diane and I were talking last night about VA. We really miss it up there. Not actually the place we lived, but the area and the great people we knew up there. It is great having the house and garage, but we pretty much live in the sticks compared to VA.

Yep..... Get this. My brother came down from Ohio two weeks ago. He had never ate at a Hooters (don't know why the hell not) but I took him to the local one here in town. It was so bad. We had a big old pregnant hooter girl for our waitress. It was terriable. I told my brother this is the worst Hooters I had been to. I wanted to drive to Chesapeake and take him there, but maybe some other time. The Hooters in Jacksonville NC is a waste of time.
