[SMC] Knoxville Dragway "Street Legal" Trophy Race Saturday June 14

Street Legal Corvette Class
This Saturday June 14, we will host a "Trophy Race" just for street legal vettes. Gates open at 3:30pm, time trials start at 5:00pm. Spectators $10.00, ages 12 and under are FREE! Come on out and check out the vettes.

Several of us heard about this at the Home Builder Show earlier this week from the Tellico Vette Group.

Sounds like fun to me with more vettes! :cheers:

I will probably be there....depends on the weather......and I will get put out first round by someone running 9.50's. :lol: ...especially with my quick (.800's) rt's. :D ....too bad it had to be bracket racing!....why not heads up? :lol:

I definately hope to make it. Heather's annual work picnic is Saturday but it starts at 11:00 and I think that most of the events are done by 3:00. It is on Norris Freeway so I will be just 15-20 min. from the track :reddevil

The "Grape" might not be the fastest, it might have a little bang, it might not hold as good of traction in sharp turns on road courses :D , but it is pretty consistant.

I wont say any more! Stay tuned! :lurk:
